Taking a break is as important as working!
With that constant pressure and being on the go, we end up exhausting ourselves quite often.
Does this happen to you as well- mentally working even if you have physically shut down the laptop ?
Constantly being connected on the phone and having an urge to reply to emails and chats instantly?
This FOMO costs us our mental & physical health for sure!
What can be done ?
Consciously take a pause..
Allocate work hours and green hours for yourself.
Switch off the mobile data or WiFi beyond a specific time until you learn to manage the urge of checking and being connected with work, even while the internet is on.
Enroll into to a sport, take out time for your health.
No one is going to do it for you, you need to plan and schedule.
These are some realisations and conscious efforts i have started putting in as well 🙂
Cherry on the top- If you end up at an exotic location for work, take a days extension 🙂
